Embroidery

How it’s made · Embroidery

Thread you can feel.

Embroidery stitches the Eagles art straight into the garment with thread — no ink, no film, nothing sitting on top of the fabric. The design is first digitized: every stitch, direction, and thread change is mapped out so the machine knows exactly how to build it. Then a multi-head machine runs the file, one needle at a time, until the mark is part of the shirt rather than printed onto it.

It’s the right call for logos, monograms, names, and anything that should read as finished rather than casual — polos, quarter-zips, fleece, caps, and bags. Thread has limits: very fine lines, small lettering, and photographic detail belong on a transfer instead. But where embroidery fits, nothing else lasts like it. It doesn’t crack, peel, or fade in the wash, and it still looks right years later.
